How to upgrade or install a RV power Hookup on your Custom Rig.
An RV hookup, "shore power", or direct AC plug to power your RV or motor home is fairly easy to add. The modification to your RV, or Motorhome is minimal, and the value outstanding. There are only a few things to learn, adding the modern electronics themselves are simple. Selecting the right components and doing something that makes sense for you is the point of this website.
Simply put, you are just adding a really good battery charger, one with 1, 2, and 3 phase battery charging settings, to your rig. You will be adding a really nifty set of cords to accommodate the locales you plan to visit and "plug" into. You should choose the smallest size connections and chargers for your pocketbooks sake.
However, if you want to charge faster or add more power ability, you follow the same guidelines. Other than the few items from your local hardware store, all necessary items are available from our sponsor, BD Batteries. We encourage you to educate yourself to an adequate level so that you can perform these activities and save yourself hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars in the process.
